The program of study agreed with the foreign university should possibly best correspond to the program of study obligatory for the field of study/specialization studied by the student at the Faculty. However, some changes are inevitable due to differences in the study programs and study schedules at partner universities. Therefore, students studying abroad as part of an international exchange follow the Individual Course of Studies (ICS), in accordance with §29 of the Regulations Governing Studies at Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
Preparation of the ICS is a procedure preceding the signing of the Learning Agreement. The Learning Agreement is always signed by the Faculty coordinator of international exchange, and in the case of some programs also by the Dean. The Agreement must be in compliance with the previously accepted ICS. The Learning Agreement cannot be signed until the ICS procedure is complete. One set of documents together with the accepted ICS remains at the Faculty.
The ICS is allowed in accordance with the procedure in force at the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems.
The study program is prepared by the student in consultation with the ICS tutor, on the following form. The ICS tutor can be an independent employee (Dr. Hab. Eng. or Prof. being an employee of our Faculty). The ICS must be approved by the relevant Vice-Dean for Student Affairs.
