On Friday, April 24, the 11th edition of the prestigious CASSINI Hackathon began at Wrocław University of Science and Technology. Team Psi Patrol, with MSc Eng. Łukasz Janiec from the Department of Cybernetics and Robotics among its members, won second prize for the project “Ψ (Psi) Factor”.

The Polytechnic “Cheese Cube” once again became an arena for robot battles. On Saturday, April 25, during the 17th edition of the Robotic Arena competition, visitors could see 300 different machines competing in seventeen categories and take part in AI workshops.

Last Friday, April 17, the latest edition of the annual IQRF Workshop 2026 – Wireless Technologies for IoT took place. It was a unique event where theory met practice, and our students had the opportunity to gain knowledge directly from the source.

MSc Eng. Łukasz Janiec from the Department of Cybernetics and Robotics has been named a laureate in the Dell Technologies competition “AI on Your Desk. It’s Simple!”. The award was a state-of-the-art local AI workstation, the Dell Pro Max with GB10.
