Introduction
At the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics (W12), the matters of education quality were dealt with by the Faculty Committee for Quality Assurance and Assessment (WKOZJK), appointed for the 2020-2024 term by the Dean of the Faculty W12 (document no. 1). The activities of WKOZJK, operating within the Faculty System for Quality Assurance in Education (WSZJK), are described in the minutes of WKOZJK meetings and in the summary (documents no. 2 to 4).
In September 2021, the Faculty was reorganized, and four departments from the Faculty of Electronics joined the W12 Faculty (document No. 5). As a result of this reorganization, since 15 September, 2021, the name and the code symbol of the Faculty changed into W12N, while the Faculty’s logotype remained unchanged.
The Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems continues the long-standing tradition of the Faculty of Microsystem Electronics and Photonics, albeit with a broader range of study programs.
Activities undertaken by WKOZJK in the period from October 2020 to January 2022 are described in the summary (document No. 6). In reference to the provisions of the Internal Regulation ZW 117/2021, of 27 September, 2021, WKOZJK ceased its activity in January 2022.
On 26 January, 2022, the Council of the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems adopted a resolution on the establishment of the Faculty Committee for Quality Assurance in Education (document no. 7), which took over the responsibility for ensuring and improving the quality of education at the W12N Faculty (document no. 8).
The Faculty System for Quality Assurance in Education is described in the Education Quality Book.
