M3- Microengineering, Microelectronics and Microsystems

The M3 Science Club, since its foundation in 2003, offers students and Ph.D. students deepening their knowledge in the field of modeling, manufacturing, and research of microsystems. The subject of activity focuses about the research carried out at the Department of Microsystems, i.e., mainly concerning the family of sensors and micromechanical actuators, lab-on-chip, and fluidic microsystems.

The statutory goals are:
• making it easier to deepen the knowledge and interests in the field of microsystem technology, by carrying out own research;
• organization and active participation in national and international seminars, workshops, and scientific conferences.

The greatest achievements of our students in recent years were the second place in the MICRO SUMO competition at ROBOCOMP in Krakow, the participation of our representation in the competition organized by ESA - OrbitYourThesis, where our students proposed a miniature laboratory for studying bone tissue in space, and the participation of our students in a prestigious international PowerMEMS conference, where they presented their works in the form of posters.
