Information for Students Applying for an Early Registration Date

I. Early faculty registration is intended for Students:
1. With a disability, a pregnant woman and a student who is a parent,
2. Representing the student community of the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics
and Microsystems in (as):
a) The Students' Parliament of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology
b) Senate of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology
c) The Council of the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems
d) Faculty Scholarship Committee
e) Student Government Chairman
Persons registered with the Accessibility Department do not need to fill out an electronic application for early registration.
3. Having very good academic results and/or working actively for the Faculty, demonstrating scientific activity, or being in a special situation.

II. The Dean of the Faculty determines the total number of places for students from point I.3 for first and second cycle studies. Based on the knowledge of the value of this number, the number of places for a given field of study is determined, while the number of places awarded in a given field is determined by the percentage of students of that field in the Faculty community.

III. The order of obtaining the right to early registration is determined by the sum of the points obtained, except for the cases described in section 5 of the form. They are considered by the relevant vice-dean, who decides on granting priority in registration.

IV. Minimum requirements that must be met for your application to be considered (does not apply to Students submitting an application due to a special situation):
1. The student receives the Rector's Scholarship, Category I , or the weighted average obtained for the previous academic year would allow receiving such a scholarship - this applies to students who can receive points only on the basis of the grade point average ,
OR:
The weighted average grade obtained in the previous academic year is not less than 4.00 – this applies to students who can demonstrate additional activity (sections 2 to 4 of the application form).
2. The number of ECTS points achieved in the previous academic year cannot be less than 40.
Note! The weighted average is calculated by the student independently!

V. Detailed notes:
1. Studies in a second field are taken into account if they last longer than 2 stages.
2. Professional work is not taken into account when allocating prior records.
3. The weighted average obtained in the previous academic year is calculated using the formula given in the Regulations on Higher Studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (2025), §38 item 2.
4. The Student Government Chairman is required to allocate points for activities to the Student Government members and prepare and deliver a list containing this data to the Dean's Office. The Chairman enters the number of points awarded in the form and confirms it with his/her own signature.
5. The Chairman of the Council of District Officers is obliged to allocate points for the District Officers' activities and prepare and deliver a list containing this data to the Dean's Office. The Chairman enters the number of points awarded in the form and confirms it with his/her own signature.
6. The Supervisor of the Science Club, in agreement with its President/Chairman, is obliged to allocate points for the activities of the Science Club members. In addition, the President/Chairman of the Science Club is obliged to provide a list containing this data to the Dean's Office. The list should be signed by the Supervisor of the Science Club.
7. Copies of the lists mentioned in points 4-6 will be available to interested students from the Chairmen of the individual organizations. Students may report any doubts regarding the allocation of points directly to the appropriate Vice-Dean.
8. The total number of points obtained from the activities described in section 2 (or 3) of the form cannot exceed 100.
9. In the case of scientific activities other than those of a scientific club, the number of points awarded is decided by the Vice-Dean.
10. Students of the first stage of the first cycle will have access to enrolment according to the recruitment index.
11. Students applying for early enrolment in the third stage of second-cycle studies should provide the average grade from the Summer semester 2024/2025 only.
12. Students applying for early enrolment in the next stage of first-cycle studies provide the average from the previous academic year.

VI.Deadline for completing the application.

The application form must be completed online - Wniosek wcześniejsze zapisy - LATO 2025/26 – Wypełnij formularz

From February 2, 2026, to February 8, 2026.
After the deadline the application form will be locked.

VII. Final remarks
1. If the Student enters false data in the form, it will result in penalties provided for in the Regulations on Higher Studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
2. The final decision on the number of points awarded is made by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs.
