Support for Students

For over a dozen years, Wrocław University of Technology has been implementing the concept of a “barrier-free” university—one that is open and welcoming to people with health challenges. In line with this concept, we support applicants, undergraduate students, and graduate students with special needs, including those with disabilities.

The university has an Accessibility Department that offers, among other things:

1. A Psychological Counseling Center; to schedule a consultation, visit ppp.pwr.edu.pl
2. Individual foreign language classes (language courses),
3. Equipment rental,
4. An educational assistant,
5. Adaptation of teaching materials,
6. Support for students in transition,
7. Single-occupancy rooms,
8. A scholarship from the Wroclaw University of Technology Alumni Association.

All information can be obtained by email: pomoc.n@pwr.edu.pl, by phone: 71 320 43 20, or in person. The office is located in building C-13, rooms 1.07, 1.08, and 1.09 at Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 25, 50-370 Wrocław. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

We encourage you to review the Presentation of Department of Accessibility

Accessibility Leaders have been appointed at the University; they were selected from among university staff members who wish to get involved in promoting the concept of accessibility. Their role is to support people with special needs across the various units of the Wrocław University of Technology. Each faculty has at least one Accessibility Leader.

All profiles are listed in the tab.

At the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics, and Microsystems, the Accessibility Leaders are: Agnieszka Cichocka, M.A., Kamila Foremny, M.A., Karolina Laszczyk, Ph.D., Damian Nowak, Ph.D., and Michał Skorupa, M.A.

Social support

Applications for scholarships and shared rooms should be submitted to the Social Support Office for Students and Doctoral Candidates (Building C-13, Room 1.03).
