We kindly inform you that in the year 2022 the Faculty organizes the 32nd Prof. Jerzy I. Skowroński DIPLOMA THESIS COMPETITION in order to award the best diploma dissertation related to electrical engineering, high voltage or electrical engineering materials.
1. Purpose of the Competition:
Development of modern Polish electrical engineering and material engineering in electrotechnology to the memory of Prof. Jerzy I. Skowroński, the developer of the Polish school of material engineering in electrotechnology.
2. Participation:
A diploma dissertation can be submitted into the Competition by a university graduate, a diploma dissertation supervisor or a faculty dean.
The topic of the dissertation should be related to electrical engineering, material engineering in electrotechnology and to high-voltage technology.
The Competition is open to diploma dissertations written in the academic year 2021/2022.
When joining the Competition, the following should be included:
• a diploma dissertation in electronic form sent via a form available at https://forms.gle/mLees3YkjPnQUjXx8
• an opinion from the supervisor and the reviewer of the diploma dissertation, also in electronic form,
• in the case of a collaborative work, the names of the co-authors of the dissertation,
• a questionnaire filled in by the student or by the person submitting the dissertation (appendix 1), sent in electronic form.
• Authors of the awarded dissertations will be invited to present their results on the day of the award ceremony, i.e. on 9 December 2022, held either in traditional or in online mode, depending on the epidemic situation.
3. Dissertation submission:
Dissertations together with the documents listed in point 2 shall be sent electronically with the use of the following form:

PKME accepts submissions until 15 October 2022.
The winners and the awards will be presented during an official ceremony held on 9 December 2022 as part of the PKME SEP meeting and organized in traditional or in teleconference mode, depending on the epidemic situation.
