Resumption of studies, restoration of student rights


In accordance with the Regulations of Studies at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology §34, section 1: A person who has been removed from the register of students after the first completed study stage or after a higher study stage may apply to resume studies in the same field, level, profile and form of study.

1. Download and complete the file "Attachment for recognition of the subject as part of the achievements" from the website https://web.usos.pwr.edu.pl/kontroler.php?_action=news%2Fdefault&panel=DOMYSLNY&file=dokumenty-do-pobraniaPL.html&lang=en
and send it in XLS format (excel) to the e-mail address of the dean's office employee in accordance with the assigned field of study https://wefim.pwr.edu.pl/studenci/studia-1-i-2-stopnia/dziekanat, entering "Resumption of studies" in the subject.


2. After the file has been verified by the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs, you will receive feedback on the recognition of the subjects as part of your academic achievements in the form of a PDF file.


3. The student downloads the Application for resumption of studies from the faculty website and attaches a printout of the approved achievements (pdf) to the application.


4. Printed and signed documents should be delivered to the Dean's Office in accordance with the Application Submission Schedule.

5. A person previously removed from the register of students is refused resumption of studies if:
1) more than four semesters (teaching periods) have elapsed between the end of the
semester (teaching period) in which the student was removed from the register of
students and the beginning of the requested study stage,
2) the person has already resumed studies at least twice in a given field of study, level,
profile and form,
3) the degree programmes in the given field, level, profile and form, or in a related field, are
no longer offered,
4) if after the first study stage, the student did not complete the study stage,
5) the person has been punished with the disciplinary penalty of removal from the University,
6) the person has already resumed studies twice for the diploma examination,
7) the following number of years have passed since the time the student started studying in
a given field, level, profile and form of study:
a) 6 years in the case of first-cycle programmes;
b) 4 years in the case of second-cycle programmes;
c) 8 years in the case of long-cycle master’s programmes.
8) by the time of submitting the application, the person has unsettled financial obligations
with respect to the University.
