This week there was a meeting with a delegation of representatives of scientific and academic institutions from Taiwan.

The aim of the mission was to identify the possibilities of cooperation with Polish science and business in the field of semiconductors, including photonics. The delegation was chaired by Taiwan's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ming-Yen Tsai. Meetings with universities dealing with projects for the semiconductor sector were crucial for this mission, but also topics related to academic exchange and cooperation in the organization of summer schools were raised. Therefore, three Taiwanese universities, National Taiwan University, National Cheng Kung University and National Tsing Hua University gave presentations on their research and scientific activities.
