On behalf of the Student Scientific Association Photonics and Bionanotechnology Association “PhoBiA” at the Faculty of Chemistry of Wrocław University of Science and Technology, I warmly invite students, PhD candidates, and early-career researchers to participate in the international scientific conference PhoBiA Annual Nanophotonics International Conference PANIC 2026.

The conference will take place on May 26–27, 2026, in building H-14 on the campus of Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Wybrzeże Wyspiańskiego 40, 50-370 Wrocław, Poland). The official language of the event is English, and participation is free of charge.

PANIC 2026 is a scientific event dedicated to photonics, nonlinear optics, nanotechnology, materials engineering (particularly biomedical applications), and biotechnology. The conference provides an opportunity to present research results and establish collaborations with young scientists from Poland and abroad.

Among the invited speakers are distinguished researchers:

Prof. Catherine J. Murphy (University of Illinois, USA)
Prof. Joana Marto (University of Lisbon, Portugal)
Prof. Roman Krahne (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Italy)
Prof. Lígia Silva (University of Coimbra, Portugal)

Participants may present their work in the form of long oral presentations (15 minutes), short “shotgun” oral presentations (5 minutes), or posters. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book with ISBN and DOI numbers. The conference program will include coffee breaks, lunch breaks, and a networking banquet.
