We are looking for a PHD student to participate in the project "Ultrastable
single-cycle mid-infrared laser sources”.
The candidate will join the group of Laser and Fiber Electronics at
Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The project will develop stabilized lasers generating
ultra-short pulses in the mid-infrared spectral range. They will be used for spectroscopic measurements of human blood for
early detection of cancer in cooperation with the group of prof. Ferenc Krausz in Munich (www.attoworld.de).
The subject of the PhD thesis will cover the areas of laser physics,
