Information for students admitted to the 1st stage of studies 2023/2024
STUDENT BOOK NUMBER
→ Each student of Wrocław University of Science and Technology has been given a student book number, which will be their main identification number during their studies.
It can be found in the IRK online registration system, in the personal forms, in the “Education” tab (https://irk.usos.pwr.edu.pl/pl/profile/dataset/education/) in the “Student book number” field.
The student book number consists of six digits.
STUDENT E-MAIL
→ A Gmail box has been created for each new student of Wrocław University of Science and Technology.
The email address is in the following form: book_number@student.pwr.edu.pl.

In case of any problems, please send a notification to: pomoc+poczta@pwr.edu.pl.
ACTIVE DIRECTORY (AD) ACCOUNT
→ In order to be able to log in to IT systems, it is necessary to know your unique login to these IT systems and to set an individual password.
If you have an active student e-mail account, you can start activating your individual account.

MATRICULATION
→ From 25.09.2023, by logging in to https://web.usos.pwr.edu.pl/, it is possible to accept the oath, statements related to the Study Regulations at Wrocław University of Science and Technology as well as the rules and procedure for paying fees.
Please do the above by 26.09.2023 to enable you to register for subjects.
STUDENT ID CARD
→ Please be advised that you have been charged a PLN 22 fee for issuing the Electronic Student ID card (ESID).
To make the payment, please log in to USOSweb https://web.usos.pwr.edu.pl.
In the “For students” tab you will find the “Payments” block with your individual payment account number.
The condition for receiving a student ID card is:
- taking the Oath and declarations on the USOSweb,
- payment of the fee and its settlement on the USOS portal by 31.08.2023.
The faculty deadline for making payments for ELS has been set for 13.09.2023.
COLLECTION OF THE STUDENT ID CARD
→ On 26.09.2023, it will be possible to collect the student ID card (the condition for receiving the ELS is the settled fee in the USOSWEB system).
You will also receive an academic calendar that will help you plan the new academic year 2023/2024.
Pickup will be available according to the following schedule:
Field of study:Electronics, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronic Microsystems Engineering
• building C-1, room 201, 7:00 p.m. 10.00-12.00
Field of study: Electronic and Computer Engineering, Electronics and Photonics, Intelligent Electronics
• building C-2, room 110, 7:00 p.m. 10.00-12.00
Persons who need a study certificate will be able to obtain it from 01.10.2023 at the Dean's Office of the Faculty, according to admission hours.
Each person who has accepted the oath and declarations in the USOSweb system will receive the document.
ENROLLMENT FOR CLASSES
→ Stage 1 students will be registered administratively from 27.09.2023 to 02.10.2023.
The condition for registration is taking the oath and confirming the declaration online by 26.09.2023, by 15.00.
Organized classes will start on 03.10.2023 and last until 02.02.2024.
TRANSFER AND RECOGNITION OF ACHIEVEMENTS
→ Students may, at their request, be transferred and already recognized credited courses, i.e. recognized hitherto academic achievements, towards the implementation of the study program.
Applications with attachments should be printed, signed and delivered to the dean's office by 31.08.2023. Please read the instructions for transferring and recognizing items.
HEALTH AND SAFETY TRAINING
→ The date of the training will be announced at the beginning of September.
All information will be updated on the Department's website on a regular basis.
