On 18 November, a new edition of the Global Ranking of Academic Subjects (GRAS) – the most prestigious international university ranking comparing research quality across scientific fields – was published.
Wrocław University of Science and Technology was listed among the best universities in the world in five technical disciplines (including three disciplines in which it ranks highest in Poland).

Among other factors, the high quality of research in the disciplines connected with our Faculty – Electronics (Electrical & Electronic Engineering) and Instrumentation Technology (Instruments Science & Technology) – placed our university among the leading institutions worldwide.

It is worth noting that in the discipline of Electronics, we are the only university in Poland to be listed!

Taking into account all scientific fields, Wrocław University of Science and Technology ranks fifth in the country, which is one position higher than in the overall Shanghai ARWU 2025 ranking.
