On Wednesday, December 08, we visited laboratories of the Department of Field Theory, Electronic Circuits and Optoelectronics. The Department specializes in conducting research and developing applications in the field of related to laser and fibre optoelectronics and electronics of microprocessor and analogue circuits. The Department closely cooperates with numerous reputable scientific research centres in the world. It conducts projects related to: laser microprocessing, lase-fibre vibrometry, fiber optic lasers, terahertz technology.
We were hosted by Prof. Jarosław Sotor, his scientific team and PhD students of the Department.
Visitors had the opportunity to learn about the functioning and equipment of the following laboratories:
Research laboratories:
- laboratory of lasers and amplifiers
- laboratory of laser microprocessing
- laboratory of electronic circuits
Teaching laboratories:
- laboratory of laser technology
- laboratory of electronic circuits
- laboratory of microcontrollers and programmable circuits
