On July 7th, 2023, The Dean of  the Faculty of Electronics, Photonics and Microsystems, Prof. Rafał Walczak took part in a meeting, during which the newly launched laboratories and stands with new devices were presented:

·         AD/DA converters – the laboratory classes are carried out during the fourth semester of the bachelor studies in the field of Intelligent Electronics

·         Quantum computing - the laboratory classes are carried during the first semester of master studies in the field of Mechatronics Microsystems Engineering.

The developed laboratory setups, mock-ups and the program for the implementation of individual exercises were presented, as well as the range of the competencies and knowledge that should be acquired by students during the implementation of the exercises.

The presentation was delivered by Prof. Teodor Gotszalk, Prof. Tomasz Piasecki, Prof. Andrzej Sikora, Dr. Marcin Palewicz, M.Sc. Dominik Badura.

Specialized scientific stands were demonstrated. They will allow our Master's students to practice the most sophisticated information coding, which is process of quantum cryptography, to use the Mach-Zender interferometer system, or work with a spectrum analyzer. The students of the bachelor studies, during the exercises, will become familiar with the topic of A/D and D/A converters, their properties, parameters, the method of AD/DA signals processing, the implementation of communication with microcontrollers and the method of processed signals information coding.
